Wrapper risk
The likelihood that your product is a thin layer on top of existing APIs or tools that competitors can replicate quickly.
Moat
Structural defensibility — data, workflow lock-in, distribution, or switching costs that make your product hard to copy.
Thin wrapper
Software that repackages existing tools or APIs without enough unique value, data advantage, or customer lock-in.
Defensibility
How well an idea holds up against copycats, incumbents, and commodity APIs over time.
Wrapper Score
WrapperCheck's 0–100 rating of how defensible a SaaS idea is, derived from problem, customer, wrapper risk, and moat dimensions.
